National Council (NC)

National Council (NC) of BPKS acts as highest approval authority over fundamental and constitutional matters including annual plan an budget, appoinment of ellection commission, decide on matters related to Executive Director. Members of NC are disabled people themselves and representatives from Disabled People Organizations (DPOs) across Bangladesh.

NC Members’ Enrolment Process: Established Grassroots Disabled People Organization to Development (GDPOD) nominates their representatives to the respective DPOD. BPKS call for nomination from DPODs for filling BPKS NC membership position. Encouragements are given to each level to ensure the equal participation of women with disabilities throughout the process.

National Executive Council (NEC)

National Executive Council (NEC) of BPKS acts as executive decision making board of BPKS having responsibility of overseeing the on-going programmes or projects of the organization. The NEC is formed by members of NC through election.

Chief Executive Officer (Executive Director) is the top management of the organization. Auxiliary of the management is structured in four functional divisions namely (a) Planning and Development, (b) Program Operation, (c) Finance and Accounts, and (d) HRM and Administration. These divisions will be renamed as (a) Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research (PME&R) division; (b) Program Implementation (PI) division; (c) Human Resource Management (HRM) division; (d) Administration and Finance (AF) division. In addition, considering the necessity, another functional section named Internal Audit (IA) section has been included under the AF division, but section chief is directly reportable to the ED.
